Advanced Equipment Company (AEC) out of Charlotte NC, leading material handling experts serving the Carolinas since 1960, has announced the promotion of Darin Boik to the role of President.
As President, Boik will be focused on driving performance while maintaining the company’s longstanding heritage as a solutions provider in the material handling industry. He takes over this position from Daryle Ogburn, who has retired after 39 loyal years as an employee of AEC, 17 of which as President.
“Darin has been a key part of our success and we are thrilled he agreed to take on this challenging role,” said Larry Abernathy, CEO/Owner of AEC.
Boik first joined AEC in 2004 as an account manager and quickly became as proficient in maintaining and growing customer relationships as he was in creating and managing custom material handling solutions. Prior to joining AEC, Boik spent 11 years as a Project Manager and Team Leader with AGV Products where he managed teams of engineers, programmers and technicians to design and fabricate automated material handling systems.
