Kicking off early Saturday morning, Charlie’s team jumped right in, dismantling 300 feet of the outdated conveyor system that was struggling to keep up with the product flow. By the end of the day, the old system was fully removed, clearing the way for Sunday’s installation of the new Hytrol E24EZ accumulation conveyor.

The Hytrol E24EZ powered roller conveyor was specifically chosen for this project because of its ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced processes like those found in retail distribution centers.

With its series of 24V DC motors driving the rollers, it offers superior control and energy efficiency compared to traditional conveyors, making it an ideal solution for facilities that operate continuously and require flexibility in moving diverse product loads. Additionally, the E24EZ’s zero-pressure accumulation feature reduces the risk of product damage by ensuring that items move along the line without unnecessary collisions, an important factor when dealing with fragile or high-value goods.

Sunday’s work involved installing and testing the new system, and by the end of the day, the Hytrol E24EZ zoned roller conveyor was fully operational.
